Did You Know?

Interesting to note, that possibly due to getting a television series spun-off from "Smallville" at the time (and this series would never get an episode past the pilot), Aquaman, one of the oldest superhero characters from Dc Comics, did not make it into the Series Finale. See more »

Orion and S.T.R.I.P.E. were last seen at Luthor's Society after they showed up at the end of "Alive!", whose ending this immediately picks up from with nobody having been able to change position, but here cannot be seen among CGreen Lantern, Batman, Atom-Smasher, Captain Atom, Superman, Red Tornado, and Dr. Fate; S.T.R.I.P.E. is first shown in another part of the Watchtower as Patrick Dugan preparing his armor which he wore earlier while Orion is not seen again until the end, running down the stairs in the all-character cameo chase. Batman: Okay, let's get these people locked up. Sounds like we've got a fight on our hands.
Giganta: If you think you're locking us up while the whole world is under attack, you got two fights on your hands.
[the Leaguers and Legionnaires stare each other down, ready to fight]
Batman: She's right. We'll need all the bodies we can throw at this.
Superman: Oh, come on! It's Lex Flippin' Luthor! Why should we trust him?
Atomic Skull: Hey, it's our world too!
Lex Luthor: Let's be clear about this: we're not here to help you save the world, you're here to help...

Our Hero....Lex Luthor?
5 October 2013 | by (Boise, Idaho) – See all my reviews

This episode is a totally gratuitous send off for the wasted 3rd season of Justice League Unlimited.

The highlight of the series is Superman unleashing his power which lasts about a minute.

Unfortunately, the series really illustrated what became JLU's biggest problems: It's unrelenting busyness and its inability to remember what heroes are all about.

The idea of adding Supervillains is logical from one point but completely stupid from a video standpoint. There are already so many people in the league that you can't keep track of whose who.

And then the end. The world is saved by Lex Luthor while Superman is writhing on the ground in agony. Seriously?
