Trivia

In the final scene with the League running down the stairs in pursuit of the Legion of Doom, the heroes passing are grouped into specific tributes to various generations of DC Comics characters. The first group made up of Hawk and Dove, Question, Creeper, and Captain Atom are all creations of writer/artist Steve Ditko. The second group made up of Stargirl and STRIPE, Crimson Avenger, Shining Knight, and Vigilante are all members of the Seven Soldiers of Victory. The third group which contains Hourman, Doctor Midnite, Wildcat, and Doctor Fate are all members of the Justice Society of America. The fourth group which had Vixen, Steel, Vibe, and Gypsy are all members of the League from the "Detroit" era. The fifth group of Booster Gold, Elongated Man, Fire, and Ice hail from the Justice League International. The sixth group which contains Zatanna, Red Tornado, Black Canary, and Green Arrow are all part of the League's "Satellite" Era that was written by Keith Giffen in the 1980s. Following them are the core Justice Leaguers "Big 7": Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter. The last of these shown are DC Comics' greatest characters, Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. Furthermore, Batman is the last character shown, who was the first character featured in the Bruce W. Timm/Paul Dini TV superhero franchise as a tribute to close it out. This also results in his being both the first and last Justice League member shown in the show. See more »

Goofs

Orion and S.T.R.I.P.E. were last seen at Luthor's Society after they showed up at the end of "Alive!", whose ending this immediately picks up from with nobody having been able to change position, but here cannot be seen among CGreen Lantern, Batman, Atom-Smasher, Captain Atom, Superman, Red Tornado, and Dr. Fate; S.T.R.I.P.E. is first shown in another part of the Watchtower as Patrick Dugan preparing his armor which he wore earlier while Orion is not seen again until the end, running down the stairs in the all-character cameo chase. Quotes

Green Lantern: [looking at the giant drill] We gotta find a way to take this out for good!
The Flash: Why don't you just throw it into the sun?
[GL looks at him skeptically]
The Flash: Yeah, I guess that was a pretty stupid idea.
Green Lantern: No, maybe you're on to something. But I'll need more leverage... and a trench.
The Flash: On it!
[Flash digs a trench in a few seconds]
The Flash: Now what?
[GL creates a giant catapult]
The Flash: Aw, cool!

Voice Actors
8 April 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I loved this season finale. One of the best Justice League Unlimited episodes I have ever seen. It's interesting how Superman unleashes his true power to fight Darkseid. This has to be the greatest fight Superman fight scene in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited history. Anyways, I don't know if it was just me or if everybody else could tell the difference too, but the voice actors in this episode sound extremely different from the voices of previous episodes. The voices actors are the same, but the voice actors for J'onn, Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Flash and many other reoccurring characters sound EXTREMELY different. It was a good season finale, but it just seems weird that the voices sound so different.
