Storyline

The boys interview Uncle Jimbo and Ned for a school report about the Vietnam War. The pair's story, however, is so unbelievable that Mr. Garrison gives the boys an F. To get back at them, the boys fake a video of the dangerous Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka and send it in to Jimbo and Ned's public access TV program. The two hunters fall for it and are soon out hunting for the frog themselves. Meanwhile, the popularity of Jimbo and Ned's program is drawing the attention of other players in the public access market. Written by Jean-Marc Rocher <rocher@fiberbit.net>

Quotes

Eric Cartman: Was it fun?
[serving in Viet Nam]
Jimbo Kearn: Sure, Viet Nam was fun, but not going-to-the-circus fun or fly-fishing-in-Montana fun. It was more shoving shards of broken glass up your ass and then sitting in a tub of Tabasco sauce fun.

A Classic Episode!
3 August 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Trey Parker And Matt Stone have moved from a lot after their previous episode "Conjoined Fetus Lady", in this episode, The Boys are forced to do a project on The Horrible Vietnam War. (Live footage is shown in this episode.) Stan's Uncle Jimbo and his best friend Ned were Vietnam War Veterans and they soon tell him about what really happened in The Vietnam War. The Boys then get An "F" in their reports and this leads to The Boys playing a "Mexican Staring Frog" trick on Jimbo And Ned. The episode ends hilariously with Jesus sending his Television Reporter away. Implying that Jesus killed her, The Television Reporter is shown in hell with a preview of Satan And Saddam Hussein's relationship before the movie! All in all, a classic South Park episode and a must see! Overall Rating: 10/10!
