Storyline

Bree overcomes her alcohol addiction by falling in love with her AA-sponsor Peter, only to find he's also a recovering sex-addict, so he passes her on to a woman. Meanwhile, Lynette is torn between testifying at Andrew's emancipation trial in his favor, as he claims to be systematically abused by Bree, or in hers. So, she tests his eagerness to become able (trough his trust-fund) to afford an expensive car. If only he had learned from Bree appearances must be kept up always and everywhere! When Edie finds out from Dr. Ron McCreadie about Susan and Karl's re-marriage behind her back, Edie demands Karl to pay her a wedding that he cannot afford and forces Susan to organize it all. When Gabrielle and Carlos learn that Libby, the girl who promised them her unborn baby, is engaged to the bouncer in the strip-club where she waitresses, they try to pay her off as well as get Libby's boyfriend, Frank, to waive paternity rights prior to birth, but the sale still has a hidden defect... Quotes

Peter McMillian: Sex is as much an addiction for me as booze. That's why when you turn me on like that it's a bit of a problem.
Bree: It was just a peck on the cheek.
Peter McMillian: It doesn't matter. The slightest touch gets my juices flowing.
Bree: So how long has it been since you-
Peter McMillian: A year. They have this rule: plant, pet, person. If I can keep a plant alive, you know, then I can move on to a pet. And if I can make that work, then I can start dating again.
Bree: So, how are you doing?
Peter McMillian: I'm on my fourth ficus.
Bree: Oh.

Losing Steam
7 April 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In this episode,Gabrielle gets to hold her and Carlos's baby for the first time after Libby gives birth.Later, they both learn the truth about their baby.We get curious how both will embrace parenthood particularly Gaby. Also,we get to see Lynette kiss and make up with Bree. She is forced to give a court deposition about her drinking and alcoholism. With the latest development of Bree's drinking,I felt that it could have been more interesting and intriguing. Finally,Paul Young comes to face his demons head on with Wisteria Lane. The episode is losing steam as it is about to end. There is less intrigue and some story lines are getting a little bit boring. It is probably fair to say that the first season was better compared to this one.
