Revealing mistakes: Randy Orton stomps at the ring steps as opposed to Rey Mysterio's hand. Mysterio still acted like Orton's foot connected with his hand.

WWE No Way Out 2006

This No Way Out really delivered. The main event was superb and the return of Tatanka brought back fond memories for this writer. Last years No Way Out was passable but the past two PPV's for 2006 (Royal Rumble and New Years revolution) were just awful so the guys had to work hard at this event.

Results from the show: John 'Bradshaw' Layfield defeated Bobby Lashley in a passable match. Matt Hardy and Tatanka defeated MNM in a non title match in a decent brawl. Chris Benoit defeated Booker T in a good match to win the United States Championship. Gregory Helms defeated Kid Kash, Scotty 2 Hotty, Psicosis, Super Crazy, Nunzio, Paul London, Funaki and Brian Kendrick to retain the Cruiserweight Championship. Randy Orton defeated Rey Mysterio to earn a shot at Kurt Angle's WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 22. Kurt Angle defeated The Undertaker in a superb 30 minute main event to retain the WWE Championship.
