Plot; When youth gangs target a "law and order" mayoral candidate, G.I. Joe is sent in to help protect him. Little do they know that Cobra has orchestrated the entire thing to get their man elected.
After fighting their way through deadly jungles, bone chilling arctic wastes and harsh deserts, the Joes enter the most dangerous terrain of all; politics. In an election year, what could be more terrifying? Not every episode can feature Cobra threatening the world with their latest "super weapon", so I appreciate the attempt to mix it up. The main problem here is that the stakes are so (relatively) low that you have to compensate elsewhere, and sadly "Cobra's Candidate" doesn't.
The most noteworthy aspect of the episode is the rare (perhaps only) team-up of the Joe's two primary female soldiers; Scarlett and Lady J.
