Trivia

The original script had Azula vaporize the ship captain after he mistakenly refers to Zuko and Iroh as prisoners, thus blowing Azula's cover story. This was changed because the creators deemed it to be too intense for younger viewers. See more »

Goofs

If you view any picture of Azula, you will see that she had a pin shaped like a flame in her hair, symbolizing fire nation royalty. When she and Zuko are fighting and she grabs Zuko's wrist and he looks up at her, when she gives an evil glance down, the flame pin disappears. In the next screen shot including Azula, however, it has returned. See more »

Quotes

Katara: Do you remember when we were at the Air Temple and you found Monk Gyatso's skeleton? It must have been so horrible and traumatic for you. I saw you get so upset, you weren't you anymore. I'm not saying the Avatar State doesn't have incredible and helpful power, but you have to understand, for the people who love you, watching you in that much rage an pain is really scary.
Aang: I'm really glad you told me that. But I still need to do this.
