Daria is challenged by Mr. O'Neill to stop reading all the time and start writing--and using various people around her as characters in it. In a nice twist, you get to see various stories from Daria's imagination act out the stories--ranging from stories that clearly suck to those that are poignant. The stupid ones are pretty funny and the poignant ones might be touching to most--I thought it was a bit too sticky sweet (fine...I guess I AM a cynic at times). In the process Daria learns about herself and shows some signs of being human. The best thing about all this is that the episode is very different from the rest--it is original and clever.
By the way, this episode is a milestone for me and I wish I had more to say about it or something profound. It marks my 10,000th review on IMDb and I guess it's time I now consider getting a life...or not. Maybe I'll get to that after I finish re-watching the "Daria" series.
