Slicing the Dragon Slicing the Dragon
There are two assassinations. One of them is a mystical man. The same gun was used.
The link seems to be a shifty construction magnate Perez. The first dead man was his employee.
His latest skyscraper is being built on sacred land. His workers think it is bad luck.
Detective Wu knew the mystical man and there is something more that links them. Her daughter who seemed to have disappeared.
There is a spiritual element to this episode. It was also a lot of style over substance. There was enough content here for half a episode.
There was a lot of swirling camerawork. Moody shots but it was all filler. This was a tedious episode.
Some of the acting was bad. Maybe because they had to use the local Hong Kong cast. Bruce Payne is just pure ham.
