Talking Tombstones & Swallowing An Octopus, 17 November 2006
9/10
Author: ccthemovieman-1 from Lockport, NY, United States

A man is standing in front of a tombstone that has a TV picture in the middle of it, with a video playing of the deceased talking. The man then keels over. It turns out he is the victim of shooting and is a prosecuting attorney. Something from his briefcase has been taken. Which "thug," if that's the case, took it and maybe shot him? Mac, Stella and Eddie investigate.

Meanwhile, a dead woman is found in her apartment, a relatively new resident of the city. She has finger prints all over her and the fingers who made those prints were in something dark. Danny and Sheldon try to figure out what the story is in this case.

Once again, the second story wound up better than the main one thanks to exotic insects being eaten - spiders, worms, wasps, you name it - gross exotic food - and an octopus going down the woman's throat and killing her. There is also humor thrown in here, thanks to Danny - Carmine Gioviannzo - who will do about anything. This is why I think he's the most "fun" character on the show.
