My father was an American Army pigeoneer in WWII. My mother, brother, sister, my parents' 9 grandchildren, and I are very proud of him. This documentary is the first authentic account of the contributions of pigeons and pigeoneers shown on a major television channel. It is an incredible profile of tireless pigeons and trainers that saved thousands of allied forces' lives. Once you see this film, you'll want to own pigeons... Still a viable communication strategy when all else fails. My father enjoyed this film very much and attests to its accuracy. His name is William B. Seal and he survived Normandy along with most of his pigeons who served the allied forces with honor.
