Slade is clearly going to be the Titan's biggest opponent in the show, and this episode proves it. He always seems to be one step ahead of all of them, whether they know it or not. I mean he almost managed to completely dissolve the Titans and he didn't even have to lay a finger on them. He was even able to manipulate Robin, and Robin's not easy to trick. On top of showing just how smart Slade is, we also get to see Dick's fatal flaw, he feels he doesn't need help most of the time. Just like Bruce, he has a hard time of telling his teammates exactly what he's planning. And just like Bruce, this sometimes drives a wedge between him and his allies. And hey, I get Dick's mindset, he is just a teenager after all, and he doesn't answer to Bruce anymore, but he needs to not let his ego get in the way of the mission. I get the feeling this isn't the last we've heard of Dick and Slade being similar either.
