America's Got Talent is facing some legal troubles.
A woman, referred to as "Jane Doe" in legal documents, filed a lawsuit against the show's production company, Marathon Productions, on Monday, alleging her daughter, "Mary Doe," was "physically manipulated and verbally abused" by host Tyra Banks.
According to court documents obtained by Et, Jane claims that she and her husband performed for the Agt judges in front of an audience on March 19, where they were allegedly "humiliated" by the judges and members of the audience after singing a song "about motherhood" that "celebrated Mary's birth and the family bond."
Jane claims producers told Mary to act "embarrassed and annoyed by her parents' performance," and alleges that Banks "shook Mary's shoulder [and] pulled Mary's hair back," and "insinuated that Mary was accidentally conceived."
"Mary did not stop Banks’ conduct because Mary was fearful," the suit claims »

Mel B's got complications.
The America's Got Talent judge, also known as Mel Brown, is being sued for libel by her former nanny, Lorraine Gilles, according to court papers obtained by Et. In previous court filings, Brown alleged that Gilles carried on an affair with her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte, whom Brown also accused of physical and emotional abuse for much of their nearly 10 years of marriage.
Belafonte has denied all Brown's allegations.
In those court filings, Brown claimed that Gilles became pregnant as a result of the affair -- and that Belafonte told Brown that he wanted to have the baby and "all three of us live together" -- before ultimately demanding Gilles get an abortion.
But in Gilles' lawsuit, filed against the 41-year-old singer in Los Angeles on Friday, the former nanny is suing for defamation, invasion of privacy »

After Mel B was granted a temporary restraining order last week against her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte -- whom she accused of beating and threatening her throughout their nearly 10-year marriage in court papers obtained by Et -- she has now obtained a restraining order against their former nanny as well.
The court order also grants Mel B access to a storage locker rented in Gilles' name. In court papers obtained by Et, the 41-year-old America's Got Talent judge claims the locker contains alleged sex tapes and private photos Gilles and Belafonte could make public, as well as Spice Girls memorabilia and photos of her late father, who died in March.
The judge has also ordered Gilles not to remove any property »
Having spent half her life onstage, whether as part the Spice Girls or as a judge on The X Factor and America's Got Talent, Mel B has taken part in so many joyous moments—both her own and those belonging to the aspiring stars who craved approval from the British pop icon. Now it's hard not to wonder how many times over the past decade she was faking it for the cameras. When the singer, whose real name is Melanie Brown, filed for divorce on March 20 after nearly 10 years of marriage, on first glance it looked like a run-of-the-mill state of celebrity affairs—"irreconcilable differences," a request for joint custody of her 5-year-old daughter. Despite dealing with divorce troubles, Melanie "Mel B" Brown's support network remains strong.
Brown's former America's Got Talent co-star Nick Cannon sat down with Et on Monday and admitted that he's exchanged a few emails with the 41-year-old singer, who was recently granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte, after accusing him of beating and threatening her throughout their nearly 10-year marriage.
"We've both been so busy, but more than anything, just wishing her well and praying she's in the best place she can possibly be," the 36-year-old Wild 'N Out host told Et.
Cannon also expressed his shock at the physical abuse allegations, adding, "I haven't been paying that close of attention to it, but we just want her to be as happy as possible and in the safest place possible."
