‘Mr. Robinson’ Review: NBC’s Music Teacher Comedy Hits All The Wrong Notes

31 July 2015 1:10 PM, PDT | Deadline TV | See recent Deadline TV news »

If Mr. Robinson is any indication, maybe NBC needs to vacate the comedy arena completely. Debuting on August 5 for a three-week, six-episode run, the series starring Craig Robinson and Peri Gilpin, as my video review above says, is distinctly unfunny and manages to swing from the nauseating way too nice to the unnecessarily mean-spirited with no rhyme or reason. Blessed with America's Got Talent as a lead-in, the most interesting thing otherwise about this summer burn-off… »

‘MasterChef’ & ‘Last Comic Standing’ Ratings Steady On Otherwise Even Night

30 July 2015 9:46 AM, PDT | Deadline TV | See recent Deadline TV news »

The schedule was pretty full, but there wasn't a lot cooking on TV last night. With the exception of Fox's MasterChef (1.4/6) dipping 6% among adults 18-49 and a clip heavy America's Got Talent (1.6/6) 10th anniversary special rising 33% over last week's clip show, pretty much everything else was even with its July 22 demo results. With that stronger than last week Agt lead-in, NBC's Last Comic Standing (1.4/5) slipped just 7% in the demo from its 2-hour Season 9 debut… »

Heidi Klum Wishes Boyfriend Vito Schnabel Happy Birthday: ''I Love You''—See the Pic!

28 July 2015 4:45 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Happy birthday! Heidi Klum wished her boyfriend Vito Schnabel a happy birthday full of love yesterday. The supermodel wrote along with the adorable picture, "I love you my V...Happy Birthday." Vito, who's a successful art dealer, turned 29 on Monday.  The America's Got Talent judge is considerably older the than the baby-faced cutie pie Vito at 42 (although she doesn't look a day over 25!). But age is just a number, right? Klum refers to her beau with the very intimate pet name V, and look at those smiles—so playful! The couple has been together since February of last year and is still going strong.  Klum started dating the art »

'America's Got Talent' Recap: Is the Best Act of the Night Eliminated During Judge Cuts?

28 July 2015 1:44 PM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

We're halfway through the brand-new Judge Cuts round on America's Got Talent's 10th anniversary season, a format that I find a welcome change from the usual rapid-fire Judgment Week. And thankfully so far, the panel has gotten it mostly right.

With multifaceted entertainer extraordinaire and Nick Cannon look-alike Marlon Wayans joining the crew, let's hope that trend continues. The White Chicks star is the guest of Howie Mandel, who promises that Heidi Klum will snuggle, though Marlon would prefer Mel B. The Spice Girl agrees to a little cuddle, but only if she can be the big spoon.

Nick Cannon -- Hospitalized ... Even Superheroes Go Down

22 July 2015 4:34 PM, PDT | TMZ | See recent TMZ news »

Nick Cannon is Not as Ncredible as he thought -- he landed in the hospital on Wednesday after "grinding" on job after job after job.  Cannon posted a pic of himself in a hospital bed, hooked up to a bunch of monitors. He wasn't specific about what's ailing him ... but hinted it was somehow related to exhaustion. The "America's Got Talent" host said, "I really think I'm a superhero" ... and compared himself to Batman.   Nick's »

Nick Cannon Snaps Selfie From Hospital Bed: ''I Gotta Stop Running My Body To The Ground''

But first, let's take a selfie. And Nick Cannon did just that, earlier today, when he posted a photo of himself from a hospital bed. The America's Got Talent host posted a lengthy message to fans, vaguely explaining a bit of backstory on what landed him in the hospital in the first place. "Don't worry, temporary pit stop…Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground," he wrote. "I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can't run on fumes. On the low though, I really think I'm a super hero…Now I'm not saying I'm Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room »

'America's Got Talent' Recap: The Judge Cuts Continue with Michael Buble

21 July 2015 1:20 PM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

The brand-new Judge Cuts round of America's Got Talent season 10 continues, with 20 more acts set to perform for one of seven slots available in the Radio City Music Hall live shows. And joining the panel as guest judge is Heidi's choice, Michael Buble.

The singer, with his own Golden Buzzer at the ready, has some big shoes to fill following Nph, and he also gives us the rare double-Canadian judge tandem, which I think is called a toonie. Oh, and it's Mel B.'s birthday. Happy birthday, Scary Spice!

Howard Stern Almost Made Marvel's 'Ant-Man'

21 July 2015 11:32 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Can you imagine Baba Booey as Michael Pe&#241a's Luis and Robin Quivers as Evangeline Lilly's The Wasp? It almost happened a long time ago, when King of All Media Howard Stern set out to acquire the rights to Marvel's Ant-Man. The film is a hit, debuting at #1 on the box office charts over the weekend. But things could have been very different for the diminutive hero. And this all happened long before Edgar Wright came aboard, and Iron Man set up the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it today.

The long-standing radio talk show and America's Got Talent host revealed this interesting bit of trivia on the The Howard Stern Show this week. He was in the middle of interview Ant-Man star Paul Rudd when the subject came up. If Howard Stern had of succeeded in getting the rights, we would have seen Ant-Man on the big »

Um, This Puppet Really Loves Mel B—But the Feeling Isn't Exactly Mutual

21 July 2015 11:00 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Well, this is awkward. Ira the puppet, you may recall him from earlier this year on America's Got Talent, is back and he has not given up on his dreams of running off into the sunset with Mel B. And Mel B has not given up on being unimpressed. Never change, Mel. When we last saw Ira, he sang "You Are So Beautiful" to Mel and got a kiss from the Spice Girl—but that was it, just a kiss. She gave him a big, fat "No." And now he's back, with his puppet mom, for the Judge Cuts round. Will Mel change her tune? Will Ira impress guest judge Michael Bublé? Ira breaks out "Let's Get It On" and all bets are off. When we caught up with host Nick Cannon earlier this summer, »
