America's Got Talent kicked off the first of four live quarterfinal segments with a couple of dreadful doozies, a small handful of acts that crawled before kicking serious bootie and two performances that were stellar from start to finish. Nick, wearing his suit inside out and his pants Touch ID tight, participated in an act, as did Heidi. But it was Mel B.'s new skinny self in a pink bunny suit strewn with black netting whose Golden Buzzer recipient stole the show. Only seven of these 12 acts will advance to the semifinals and we've got opinions on all of them. In the words of my esteemed colleague Bill King in his recap of the Quarterfinals Part 1, let's kick this pig. »

America's Got Talent is for the first time in season 11, and what better way to celebrate the move to the Dolby Theatre than by going live ourselves here at BuddyTV? So we're live blogging the first group of 12 quarterfinalists set to hit the stage in hopes of nabbing one of seven spots in the semifinals.
The decision to award host Nick Cannon a Golden Buzzer -- which he promptly wasted on elderly burlesque dancer Dorothy Williams (sure, she's adorable, but c'mon) -- means that only three slots were up for grabs in the Top 36 and, at the conclusion of the Judge Cuts, they were promptly awarded to Steven Brundage, Flip and Sila Sveta.

The America's Got Talent Judge Cuts came to an end Wednesday night, with 28 advancing acts joining the five Golden Buzzer-winning auditions in the quarterfinals. But any math whiz or Rubik's Cubester will tell you that's only 33.
Sure, they could probably do three live shows with 11 acts each, but who doesn't like a good even number? And as such, the Top 36 are headed to the Dolby Theater to compete for your votes.
Well, it's just one member of the supergroup, but I doubt all that many people over the age of 18 (who don't have kids) are intimately familiar with the name Louis Tomlinson. I mean, he's no Harry Styles.
The apparently outspoken 24-year-old, who is the guest judge for the final round of America's Got Talent Season 11 Judge Cuts, started as a solo contestant on The X-Factor before being formed into a group with Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Styles. The quintet adopted the moniker One Direction, and the rest is history.

Brian Justin Crum wowed the crowd - and the judges - with his insanely beautiful cover of Radiohead's "Creep" on America's Got Talent. He captured the audience's attention early on in the performance, and by the time the song picked up, even Simon Cowell looked awestruck. This isn't the first time the singer has impressed viewers, though. A couple weeks ago, his "Somebody to Love" performance blew everyone away too. Watch his awesome take on "Creep" above, then check out more can't-miss covers. »

The CW's first limited series event concluded last night, but it get the amount of closure you'd expect from a limited series?
The CW: An encore of The Flash (0.8 million/0.2 rating) aired before the series finale of Containment (0.9 million/0.3 rating). Had ratings been a little higher, this would have been renewed. There's no way with that ending that this was considered a one and done when it was announced.
Fox: Hotel Hell (2.4 million/0.8 rating) and Coupled (1.3 million/0.5 rating) remained pretty weak.
NBC: America's Got Talent (10.8 million/2.3 rating) eased off a little, while the Rnc (5.3 million/1.1 rating) continued.
CBS: Zoo (4.1 million/0.7 rating) continued to drop. There's every reason to believe that CBS will not be taking a trip to the zoo next summer. Before that, it was an encore of NCIS (6.3 million/0.7 rating). Rnc (2.5 million/0.5 rating) coverage closed off the night for CBS.
ABC: It was encores of The Middle (3 million »

Scanning the lineup of N.Y.C.'s Panorama Festival, set to take place this weekend, reveals the usual big-tent reunions (LCD Soundsystem), huge, hook-oriented pop (Sia) and subwoofer-shredding bassheads (Major Lazer). Oh, and one Mormon violinist who combines classical music, dubstep and contemporary dance. That would be Lindsey Stirling, whose unique, boundary-crossing music has made her a hit with the YouTube set. (And Europe - more on that later.) Stirling grew up in Arizona and started learning violin at the age of 5. Eventually she became Junior Miss Arizona and won the Spirit Award in the America's Junior Miss Finals. »

Nick Cannon is fully woke and making statements -- both political and fashionable -- outside the Rnc in Cleveland. Nick was square in the middle of a Black Lives Matter protest on Monday. He was the one sporting the turban, if you couldn't spot him in the crowd. The "America's Got Talent" host also led a Blm protest in NYC earlier this month after Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were shot and killed. That time he opted for black headgear. »

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey continue to prove their split has been quite amicable, often spending holidays and big events together with their twin children, Moroccan and Monroe. However, the America's Got Talent host still has one major issue with their split: "visitation." During an interview on The Howard Stern Show on Monday, Cannon said one of the most "f--ked up" parts of the whole thing is that spending time with his children now has the label of "visitation" attached to it, which he doesn't feel is very fair to himself or other fathers in similar situations. "It's kind of f--ked up when time with your kids is considered »

Can you imagine what it would be like to start dating the celebrity you had a crush on as a kid? While most people's dreams of shacking up with Leonardo DiCaprio or having a candlelit dinner with Justin Timberlake are only a fantasy, Nick Cannon has apparently aimed to make his childhood infatuation, TLC's Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, a reality. A source told E! News that in the wake of Nick's return to singledom, the America's Got Talent host, 35, has started romancing Chilli, 45. "Nick and Chilli [have] been hanging out on the low," they said. "[They've] been friends for some time and just recently this summer they have been hanging out romantically." The source also revealed that "Nick has always had a crush on her growing up. He thinks she is beautiful." So sweet! Both Nick and Chilli are no strangers to engaging in high-profile relationships, with Nick splitting from Mariah Carey in »

Nick Cannon, the "classy with a touch of flashy" style king, is donating more than just his time as he joins forces with Men's Wearhouse in the National Suit Drive. "It's really about empowering the people who are unemployed and helping them get back to the workforce," Cannon, 35, tells People of the month-long philanthropic campaign, which will collect gently used professional attire to aid 180 non-profits across country assisting unemployed men and women back into the workforce. "At the same time, it allows everyone else to give to a worthy cause. It's really easy. You just get your used professional attire »

Nick Cannon certainly seems like he's diggin' on TLC singer Chilli, days after the two sparked dating rumors. Just don't use the "R word"...yet. The New York Daily News reported this week that the 35-year-old America's Got Talent host, who is in the midst of divorce proceedings with Mariah Carey, and Chilli, whose real name is Rozonda Thomas, were spotted kissing at Wdkx's Summerfest Concert in Rochester, New York over the weekend. A source recently told E! News the two started "hanging out romantically" earlier this summer. Cannon was all smiles when asked about Chilli in an exclusive interview with E! News' Carissa »
