Mel C is up for joining The Voice UK: 'X Factor has had its day'

1 July 2015 2:55 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Mel C has teased that she would like to follow Mel B into the world of TV talent show judging.

However, the Spice Girls singer has no interest in joining The X Factor, as it is all about The Voice UK on BBC One for her.

"I'd love to do The Voice because, one - I love Ricky [Wilson], and two - Tom [Jones] is a wonderful artist," she told the Daily Star.

"I've never met will.i.am but hey, he's been fun on the telly."

When asked if she has been invited to replace Rita Ora on the coach lineup, she said: "Would I do it if they asked me? Yeah, I'd consider it. X Factor's over. It's had its day."

Mel C has previously appeared as a judge on ITV's Superstar and Asia's Got Talent, while her fellow Spice Girl Mel B has judged The X Factor (UK »

Heidi Klum Wears Nothing But Lace Underwear in New Lingerie Ad

Is Heidi Klum getting better with age?! The 42-year-old supermodel strips down to her skivvies in the new campaign ads for her lingerie line, Heidi Klum Intimates. She took to Instagram to give us a drool-worthy sneak peek at her latest photos, where she's seen covering up her goods in nothing but a pair of black lace underwear. When it comes to prepping for a big shoot, the "America's Got Talent" judge says she doesn't do anything special. "I don’t really have a ritual before I shoot," she tells People. "I like looking fit all the time — not just for a shoot — as you never know when your clothes come off! When I first started modeling 20 years ago, I had to make some overall lifestyle changes… It’s been a big part of my job to make sure that I’m fit on a regular basis." "For me, that »

'America's Got Talent' Recap: Explosions, Freefalls and Extreme Horseback Riding

30 June 2015 1:49 PM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Summer is officially underway, which means the audition phase of America's Got Talent's 10th anniversary season is close to wrapping up. And that's exciting because then we (and the judges) finally get to start forming opinions instead of just recapping what's happening. It is, after all, why the next round is called Judgment Week.

But while the introductory portion is nearing its conclusion, we've still got a lot of talent to cram into two shows. So we're sampling some of the best performers to hit the stage, as well as returning to the Agt Extreme Arena for more acts that grace us with their death-defying presence.

Memo to NBC: Replace Donald Trump with Piers Morgan on 'Celebrity Apprentice'

30 June 2015 5:32 AM, PDT | Gold Derby | See recent Gold Derby news »

Now that NBC has fired Donald Trump, let's play armchair casting director and suggest who we want to replace the controversial mogul on the long-running "Celebrity Apprentice." My vote would go to the show's very first celeb champion Piers Morgan, but what about you? Sound off on this hot topic in our forums. -Break- Emmy loser Donald Trump slams 'boring, piece of crap' 'Amazing Race' Every time he returned as one of Trump's advisors on "Celebrity Apprentice," Morgan had no problems digging in and asking the tough questions of the remaining contestants. He seemed to care more about making sure the right person won than being likeable, which is key going forward for the aging franchise. Morgan is tough, he's fierce and he has a relationship with NBC already, having judged "America's Got Talent" for the first six seasons. That helps if the Peacock network is looking to »

Lisa Lampanelli on her new standup special and why she hates watching standup

26 June 2015 4:20 PM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Lisa Lampanelli has a few announcements in her new special "Back to the Drawing Board," which premieres on Epix tonight at 10 p.m. Est. She's lost over 100 pounds and has kept it off for three years. She's mad that a known date rapist didn't make a move on her. And she's still unapologetic about and thrilled to reiterate everything -- everything -- she says. The loudmouthed comic most known for her bawdy insults at Comedy Central's roasts is a consummate professional. She engages audiences, reels them in with honesty, then sandblasts them with grotesque jokes. We caught up with Lampanelli to discuss her joke-writing process, her heroes, and what she thinks of her old "Celebrity Apprentice" boss Donald Trump.   How does producing a standup special feel different than other times you perform? The only thing different -- because it literally feels no different, having done this so long -- »

“America’s Got Talent” doesn’t got Howard Stern anymore. At least, the NBC reality competition won’t have him much longer. Stern, who signed on for “America’s Got Talent” in 2012, said during SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday that the current season will be his last as a judge on the show, citing a “career evaluation.” “I’m going through my own career evaluation right now … In all seriousness, I’ve told you, I’m just too fucking busy … something’s got to give,” Stern said. 'America's Got Talent' Recap: One Act Literally Breaks a Leg

After the most extreme auditions in America's Got Talent history, the judges and audience are headed back inside for some good old-fashioned on-stage performances. And while it will be interesting to see how they integrate the base jumping, school bus exploding and flyboarding (will Damone Rippy have to do it on the Hudson River? Gross) into a night of clogging and magic, that's a discussion for a different day.

We're still in the "impress me" phase of the competition, where a million-dollar act you need not be. Just show me you deserve a shot to be judged, and I shall judge ye in the future. Unless you're terrible. Then you get judged now!
