As Felicity Huffman is reading from the cue cards (filmed from behind the card holder) during last-minute rehearsal, she "reads": "Which isn't how we'd do it on Wysteria Lane. On Wysteria Lane we'd invite the suspect over to our book club . . ." The card holder then moves a card from front to back of a stack of three cards. The camera angle changes to the front of the cards, and only one card can be seen, rather than three. That card reads "Which isn't how we'd do it on Wysteria Lane. On Wysteria Lane we'd invite the suspect over to our book club . . ." -- the same words Felicity Huffman had just "read" from the card that was then moved to the back of the stack.
