When Tallis and the girl jump out of the window, and Tallis blows a hole in the street so they can fall into the sewer. There is a shot from under the water that shows them hitting the water and then swimming back up to the surface, but the next shot shows them stand up and the water level in the sewer is only knee deep. Angel - Tallis' Rifle:
'It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.' Albert Einstein made that statement when the steam powered locomotive was still a wonder of technology. Good Gritty sci -fi actioner with a new look for Don Wilson
I saw this film at a screening at Warner Bros. It is an ambitious, gritty sci-fi actioner that delivers. It isn't an A list film and never claimed to be they did great things with the budget they had. The scope of the story needed a budget of 15 to 20 million they did this film for a fraction of that. Katie Sackoff is great in this film depicting a tough but vulnerable freedom fighter. This movie gives Don Wilson a whole New look,Gone is the squeaky clean ex kickboxer cop replaced with a scarred tough burnt out veteran of countless battles. The action is more realistic no cheesy triple jumping spin kicks just minimal close quarters combat techniques and why kick some one when you can shoot them. Jesse Johnson has done a good job of creating a cold gritty world with people trying to survive.A very good little sci-fi flick that re-invents Don Wilson for what could be a fun series.
