When the press reports a miraculous cancer cure case in the village of Clayton, reported by the boy patient Alphie's female doctor Williams, Ian Hood is eager to disproof the fable, as it makes people believe vital therapy isn't their best option. When he starts examining the water, the MD declares other cancer patients who drank it got worse! Still extensive examination of the entire course of the water supplying the well reveals nothing, even though there are a fertilizer - and a hydro-electric plant.
