Marge Simpson is starting to loose hair due to the stress of running the Simpson household. The family decide to get a nanny and are approached by Shary Bobbins, a Mary Poppins figure in Victorian attire, complete with a flying umbrella. The part of Shari Bobbins was written with the intent of having Julie Andrews
parody herself as Mary Poppins
(1964). But Andrews was on Broadway at the time and was unavailable. The voice is provided by cast regular Maggie Roswell
(the voice of Maude Flanders, Helen Lovejoy, Luann Van Houten, Elizabeth Hoover, and some walk-ons). See more
