Leela and Fry find the site of an original moon landing but the lunar module is still intact. In reality the body of the module launched back into space leaving only the legs behind. However, it clearly states inside the lander "Lander returned to this site by the Historical Sticklers Society". See more »

The One Where They Go To The Moon...
31 October 2014 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I love this episode. It's a great follow up to the Series Premiere.

In this episode, the Planet Express crew have to deliver a package to the Moon. Which now has a theme park on it. Fry is super excited, and everyone else is just like, "It's only the Moon". When they get there, Fry wants to explore. When he sees that the theme park is disappointing, because it's generic and he can't do moon bounces or anything, he takes his little moon rover, off the ride, and onto the real surface. He gets stuck out there with little oxygen. Meanwhile, Leela loses the keys to the ship and finds them in a crane machine game. She tries desperately to get them out, but fails miserably.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10.
