Did You Know?

Prof. Farnsworth mentions that Mars University was founded in 2636. This is 1000 years after the 1636 founding of the New College, the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. (In 1639, it was renamed Harvard.) See more »

Bender sees the house of his old fraternity, Epsilon Rho Rho, which has a sign reading "ERR". However, the Greek letter Rho looks like the Latin letter P (as does its Cyrillic descendant), so the sign should look like "EPP". See more »

Fry: Hey, professor. What are you teaching this semester?
Professor Hubert Farnsworth: Same thing I teach every semester. The Mathematics of Quantum Neutrino Fields. I made up the title so that no student would dare take it.
Fry: Mathematics of wonton burrito meals. I'll be there!
Professor Hubert Farnsworth: Please, Fry. I don't know how to teach. I'm a professor.

The One Where They Go To Mars...
31 October 2014 | by See all my reviews

I really like this episode. It's really funny.

In this episode, everyone's going to Mars University. Fry decides to go there and whilst he does, he competes with a monkey that was made intelligent by Professor Farnsworth. It was his latest invention. Now, I don't remember exactly why Fry decides to attend Mars University, but he does, and it's funny. Meanwhile, Bender tries to make the robot fraternity look cool. I'm pretty sure he was a member once. I hate the monkey in this. He's rude and obnoxious. And I honestly hate him. He's not even that cute. Making a monkey smart is a bad idea. And that's just what Fry learns in this episode.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10.
