Miles From Home was tremendously a great experience for me. I had no clue that the film was going to be like that! What a pleasant surprise! I haven't been able to really stop thinking about the film. I really didn't know what I was getting into. Everything that I'm going through in my life at this particular time, the movie really ministered to my soul. Ty Hodge reminds me of the pioneers in the film industry, like Robert Townsend, Melvin Van Peebles, Spike Lee, etc. I'm often frustrated with the whole Hollywood Hype fad of making movies just to make a dollar, and not for the sake of art and creativity, and sending a message. Ty does a great job of that! Everything that film stands for is ME! I never thought that I had young people in the industry that are fighting for the same things that I'm fighting for. To share Christ and minister to a vast demographic of young people for the sake of love through creativity is such a wonderful thing! People don't even know how to love anymore, but because of the love of Christ he allowed the cast of Miles From Home to love these young people enough to make a film about it! I can go on and on, because there's so much to say. I recommend this film to everyone! Be ready to open you hearts and minds to think differently about life. Miles From Home really teaches you how to love all over again from every aspect.
Sincerely,
Steve
