Should've said goodbye 4 years earlier

After 4 average final seasons (I disagree with many that the return of Lloyd and Keenan as Execs made any difference) Frasier Crane bids goodnight to Seattle and to audiences that have seen him on screen for 20 years (including the 'Cheers' years).

It's all fairly touching stuff, most of it built around the same sort of so-so jokes that have become the norm in the last few seasons. We get to see a happy Daphne and Niles and Frasier's final radio show sign off speech is nice. There's even a twist that makes us think "not another spin off!".

But in all honesty, for me 'Frasier' lost its edge after the end of season 7, and after that the characters became over the top versions of what they were at the start. This finale was good, but not before time.
