Storyline

After the battle, Earth's forces and those of their allies regroup. Teal'c is a prisoner of the Lucian Alliance who he convinced the join the attack but now think they were fooled into joining them so as to have their fleet destroyed. Daniel thinks he knows what Merlin's weapon looks like but no one seems to know where it is to be found. On board one of the Ori vessels, Vala gives birth to a baby girl - who very quickly grows into a preteen. She turns out to be an Ori in human form and Vala hopes to convince her that the Ori are evil. It's clearly not going to easy. Written by garykmcd

Goofs

When Colonel Mitchell "request permission to come on board" and permission is granted, the officer next to the Captain states "Left docking bay is out of commission Colonel".

A crew member of a ship (marine, air or space) would always refer to sides of a craft as either Port or Starboard. Left and Right are terms that can be easily confused as they are relative to the direction a person is facing, which may be opposite to the direction of the ship. Whereas Port and Starboard are fixed to the ship regardless of which direction the ship is facing. See more »

Quotes

Lt. Col. Samantha Carter: Thank you.
Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell: You're welcome. Yeah, I was gonna say, "no sweat," but, there was definitely sweat involved. In Kvasir's case, I think it was perspiration.

Why Teal'c is the Man!!!
19 October 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode shows why Teal'c is so awesome!

At the end of Season 9, the Ori have entered the galaxy and handed our heroes a big ol' butt whooping. This episode picks up right after that battle ends, but somehow, someway, Teal'c has taken time to get a haircut and get some plastic surgery (at the very least, Botox)! All while on an enemy ship! What a man! If he can't defeat the enemy, he's gonna make darn sure he looks fake and plastic with taut skin, and his hair shaved down. Wow! What a stud!

The Lucian Alliance must have some stellar personal improvement facilities on their ships, although they always look a little rag-tag. Maybe they just reserve them for their guests, and don't use them themselves?

Anyway... It takes a few more episodes before Teal'c starts to look normal again, but until that happens, you get to laugh every time he is on the screen, because his face is pulled so tight, he almost looks like he's smiling the whole time.
