Tense drama

John Derek, a youthful looking 30, plays Andy, a "kid" who joins up with three outlaws to get even with a wealthy rancher he blames for his father's death. Intent on stealing cattle and thinking that they'll encounter no opposition before sun-up, they ride straight into a waiting posse. The leader of the outlaws, Danny, is caught and lands in jail. Andy greatly admires Danny and tries to help him escape before the jury comes back with its verdict. There's a nice build up of tension and an interesting twist at the end.

John Derek is very good and the incomparable David Janssen plays Danny with confidence and flair.
