Weak and confusing story
kfo949424 February 2016
For some reason, this episode seemed a bit confusing right from the very start. It all started off when a young man, Linc Hardaway, visits a gambler, Ames, and sells him his inheritance for a fee of $5,000 when the true value is around $30,000. But here is the odd thing, Linc's father, Dan, is still alive and when he hears about what his son did, all he has to do is change the Will where his son will inherit nothing. But before his father has a chance to change the Will, his father is shot and killed on the main street. Of course, no one happens to see the shooting and now we have a few suspects that will try to clear themselves.

This was not one of the better stories as it never made good sense what was going on in the plot. And then when the real killer is revealed it was lackluster in suspense. There was also some very suspicious acting in the episode, as the uncredited person playing the Marshal was down right poor. The beautiful Julie Adams was in the cast but had very little to do with the weak story. Not one of the better shows.
