The Unforgiven
21 February 2017 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

A year before this Zane Grey Theater episode was broadcast, the John Huston film The Unforiven was released where Audrey Hepburn played a role similar to what Carolyn Jones plays here. The only difference is that Hepburn is the sister of Burt Lancaster, Audie Murphy, and Doug McClure whereas Jones is the wife of Paul Richards.

Richards who played any number of villains and bigots on screen, the Alan Ladd film All The Young Men comes to mind is perfectly cast as the man who learns that his beloved wife is half Cherokee.

Worse than that she's got some Comanche brave who is claiming that she was promised as a squaw to him come a calling in the usual manner.

Totally taken from The Unforgiven, but still a nice story.
