In 1999 Lucasfilm announced "Peking, March 1910" to be the second half of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: Journey of Radiance (1999), the first half being The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles: Benares, January 1910 (1993). This chapter was finally released in October 2007 on disc 7 of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones Volume 1.

Rosemary Anne Sisson's teleplay was adapted by comic book writer/artist Dan Barry into issues 11 and 12 of Dark Horse's 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles' 12 issue limited series, published Jan 01, 1993 and Feb 01, 1993.
