However, writer Melissa Blake admitted she didn't have time to watch these episodes because of schedule constraints, which resulted in several contradictions and continuity errors. See more »

Ares says he's going to tell his parents, Zeus and Hera, about his upcoming wedding with Xena. However, by the time this scene was chronologically set (Season Four), Hera was trapped in Tartarus (which happened in a previous "Hercules" episode) and she didn't come back until the "Hercules" series finale, which took place during Season Five of "Xena".
