Character error

At the end, Mac, discussing conventions and future possible cloning, says he has a Dr. Spock nail clipping and that he used to be a "Trekkie". In Star Trek it was Mr. Spock, not Dr. Spock.

Thought to be an error, The reference to 'Dr. Spock' is not a reference to the legendary 'Star Trek' character, but instead, Dr. Spock was a wildly popular child care specialist in the 1950's and 60's, who wrote several books on child rearing that were best sellers among new parents.

If he had lived in the 21st century, Mr Spock, the Vulcan, might have left a fingernail behind, but he hadn't been born yet.
