Storyline

When a seeress tells King Gregor that a newborn child will one day sit on his throne, a woman sets the baby in a basket on a river to protect him from the king. Xena and Gabrielle find the baby. King Gregor doesn't want to harm a baby but his guard captain is determined to eliminate any threat. Written by mama.sylvia

The "new" Xena kills less often than then "old" Xena, but still quite often. In this episode she kills one of King Gregor's soldiers with her chakram, kills another with her sword and pushes the man so that a third soldier is impaled on his sword. In the final fight, Xena kills three soldiers and Nemos with her sword. The "new" Xena's body-count after this episode is 14. See more »
