The "new" Xena kills less often than then "old" Xena, but still quite often. In this episode, Xena appears to kill both Callisto and Velasca by cutting the rope bridge they are fighting each other on, dropping them into a lava stream below. However, it will later be revealed that this is not enough to kill someone who's eaten Ambrosia, so the "new" Xena's body-count after this episode is still 58, unchanged since Season 2, Episode 8.
