on a simulation Kurt is the victim and the girl who is supposed to be saving him (boom boom) starts messing around and almost kills Kurt in the process. they both get punished for this and are not allowed to use their mutant powers or go to the school carnival that takes place that night.then booms booms father shows up and they have deep issues.he wants to rob the school carnival using boom booms mutant abilities .she agrees as long as it is the last time and plans to meet him at the carnival.she persuades Kurt to break the rules and use his mutant powers to get the both off them there.she ditches him and meets her dad and they break into the school.Kurt goes for help and the x-men come to the rescue but the brotherhood follow and try to rob the money for themselves.boom booms father is not willing to give it up and almost falls through the roof.he ends up going to prison and the money gets returned.boom boom goes to join the brotherhood much to Kurts dismay.
