She's The One

Yet another outstanding episode with great acting from all involved, especially Fred Savage as Kevin Arnold. It is really amazing how the writers of Wonder Years are one hundred percent on the nose regarding the teenage trials and tribulations of the 1970s. Trips down memory lane are filled with both joy and sadness and that's what makes The Wonder Years such a heartfelt and enjoyable experience. I think almost everyone is a born sucker for love and can really relate to Kevin and Winny's first love romance.

One of my favorite episodes...

The Wonder Years was a show that had a universal appeal, no matter the decade in which you grew up. I was a preteen & teenager in the late '80s & early '90s while this show was on, and could easily relate to Kevin Arnold, even though I'm a female.

BTW...it's no "goof" that Kevin said he was 16 in this episode. If his birthday is March 1956, you add 16 years to that & get the year 1972. He would turn 17 in March 1973.

A flashback episode worth not skipping

Warning: Spoilers
Initially I wrote this off as "just a flashback episode tacked on to the end of S5", but on reflection it is so much more.

This episode wonderfully tracks the Kevin/Winnie relationship to this point, and there is a gorgeous montage at the end with an inch perfect song for the occasion.
