Early in the episode they show Robert Reed coming in from a Trans-Atlantic flight. La Guardia Airport was not called that during World War II. Fioriello La Guardia was mayor of New York City from 1934 to 1945. When New York City took over and dedicated it, they named it New York Municipal Airport from being named North Beach Airport. Newspapers had referred to it as La Guardia field unofficially. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officially named it La Guardia airport on June 1st, 1947 after the time this episode takes place. Trans-Atlantic flights also did not begin at La Guardia airport until late in 1945. See more
