Goofs

Early in the episode they show Robert Reed coming in from a Trans-Atlantic flight. La Guardia Airport was not called that during World War II. Fioriello La Guardia was mayor of New York City from 1934 to 1945. When New York City took over and dedicated it, they named it New York Municipal Airport from being named North Beach Airport. Newspapers had referred to it as La Guardia field unofficially. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officially named it La Guardia airport on June 1st, 1947 after the time this episode takes place. Trans-Atlantic flights also did not begin at La Guardia airport until late in 1945. See more »

Quotes

The Falcon: All right, when that guard gets to the back of the institute building, you head for those bushes. You'll have at least 20 seconds, that'll give you plenty of time.
Frank Willis: [panting] Yeah, yeah, I can make it.

a good effort, finally

Finally the series comes to what it should be, a believable story and good effects, although they are still campy in some ways. But there is an improvement. When wonder woman is doing her thing they added a special sound to the score to warn you that she's doing wonderstuff. It's much better this way.

Not only that, it's been a while that we have seen her plane, that was cheesy as hell. Wonder woman do walks around and jumps over hedges and gates. Fightscene's are also a bit better but what still is laughable is the fact that she uses her lasso to catch the bad people.

The acting here was also up to point. It all looks great and the story is rather believable even as it can't happen in real life.

A lot of fans prefer season 2 and 3 but this here clearly shows that the production team has found what they were looking for.
