TO SEE WONDER WOMAN JUMP
asalerno1015 May 2022
Ilandia is a parallel dimension habited by humans with strange powers, the villain on duty kidnaps a girl and transports her to our dimension to use her powers for himself. A friend of Diana finds the girl and together with her they will try to make her return to her world. This is another of the many episodes where a villain appears for the first time, Dr. Bleaker, who is mentioned as if he had already appeared before and whom Wonder Woman fails to capture and despite the fact that the story is unfinished with the possibility that both characters, Bleaker and Amadona will return, they will never do it again. The episode is entertaining and shows beautiful images of Wonder Woman doing acrobatic jumps in a fun competition between her and the girl from Ilandia.

Fun episode with interesting ending
armansyal15 August 2022
This episode is about a mysterious girl who is found unconscious floating in the sea by fishermen, with Wonder Woman joining in the mystery to help her and find out who she is and how she ended up in the sea. This girl happens to have similar powers to that of Wonder Woman- leading to great chemistry between the two of them and making the episode quite reminiscent of the episodes with Wonder Girl. Although the ending was slightly unsatisfying, it was certainly interesting.

The Lost Girl

Warning: Spoilers
"The Girl from Ilandia"

I never thought that I would come across an episode that is actually quite as mature and new as this one. It's odd to see this kind of story, as when I was watching these episodes on TV and on DVD, I was just expecting a good adventure with some laughs and cool moments, but I got a story about a lost child who is forced to stay in the real world, a lot like Wonder Woman herself and has to deal with her loss. We never see Tina go home in the Series and this is her only appearance, so I guess that she was quickly forgotten, but having an episode like this shows off just how mature Wonder Woman can be and her speech at the end of the episode is perfect writing and Lynda Carter plays it off beautifully. I couldn't have picked another episode to call my favourite in the Series.

Wonder Woman Junior

Warning: Spoilers
The Girl from Ilandia WW acts as a role model for a little girl with powers not to different from her own. Alan Arbus, another MASH star featuring this week. An awful lot of submarines in Wonder Woman or maybe a lot of stock footage of submarines that the studio likes to use as a cheap option (I swear these clips recurred over 25 years later on The Unit). WW also has knowledge of Ilandia, another lost society like Paradise Island but can't get to it. Wonder Woman in a tube very popular in the conquered-superheroines fetish genre. For once WW fails and isn't able to return Tina to her home but makes her understand to that the important thing is to accept the reality of her situation and make the best of it without ever giving up the dream of returning home one day. If we ever have a new WW series or film I'd love to see an updated version of this ep where 'Tina' does indeed get to return home. Obviously a dream come true for many little girls to not only have their idol of Wonder Woman as a friend but to actually share her abilities, much like the ep where Xena inhabits the young girls body due to Aphrodite's screwed up spell.
