Goofs

In the opening sequence, the Knights' kicker is wearing #81. Neither the National Football League nor the National Collegiate Athletic Association allowed kickers to wear that number in the 1970s; the NFL put kickers in numbers under 20, and the NCAA dressed them in the 40s or 90s. See more »

Quotes

Professor Brubaker: Then that's it? I can leave?
Diana Prince: You're a free man.
Professor Brubaker: Oh, but what about Cappucci? I heard his lawyers got him out on bond ten minutes after he was arrested. He'll try to kill me. He is so mean, I know he will.

The Deadly Sting

You'd think had you developed a device that allows you to control peoples actions you'd find a better way to use it than some dumb sports betting cheating. Also you'd think if Wonder Woman was after you you'd use this on her as it seems unlikely that she'd be able to deflect it. Another unremarkable episode and you rather cringe at the way the waitresses on the bus are leered over by the football players. Once again the series seems to suffer from the curse of the boring villain, more non-descript guys in bad business suits who are out for a quick buck rather than the more elaborate and colourful villains we see on other comic-book shows. 3/10
