This is the first episode to feature Diana Prince going undercover. This was the only instance of her doing so in the first season. (And also the first and only time in the first season when Lynda Carter wore a bathing suit.)
There were a total of three spins that Wonder Woman would use to accomplish transformation. The first was spinning in slow-motion, which showed Diana slowly disrobing. This eventually proved too expensive to do every week and was nixed. The second was first used in the episode "Beauty on Parade" in which she spin quickly in a circle, followed by a thunderclap, a flash of light, and raising her outstretched arms over her head in a ballerina-like motion. Later the raising of hands over head was forgotten and Diana's arms remained simply outstretched. The first thunderclap change was used during a scene in which Wonder Woman is trying to sneak out of a room of sleeping beauty pageant contestants.
This episode is the last acting credit for Christa Helm (Rita) before her death.
Set in May 1942 at Fort Russell, MD., Randolph Field, TX. and Washington, D.C.
