Did you know? One of the scenes involving a gift shop owner and one of the detectives was shot near the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art on 3rd Avenue and St. Marks Place. You can easily identify "World Famous Ray's Pizza" with its green awnings and neon sign in the background, and the brown brick 7 floor Cooper Union library. Later on you can see a far shot of a smaller brown building across 3rd avenue of the building that houses the ground floor level "Starbucks", right next to the downtown 6 train entrance. The background of the store owner is actually a tourist's gift shop which sells caps, jewelry, etc. The area is near New York University.
