No trace in this arc it seems of the original emotional, intense and conflicted Vinnie Terranova of season 1. Instead we have this shallow, unconvincing and superficial person whose fate I personally didn't care about. He's like a cardboard cut out compared to the brilliant creation in the earlier season and even at the beginning of this one. He doesn't even seem to be the central character. Where is the tension and menace in this plot? No wonder Cannell is said to have disliked the way seasons 2 and 3 developed. What a disappointment.
