the beginning of the end for Wiseguy
24 July 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Vinnie is on his way out. The weight gain has become an issue and they are starting to set up Roger Lorocco (William Russ, the Dad on Boys meet World). This story arc has been rather weak compared to the others which helped make Wiseguy a great show. About 4 episodes into the story arc and who cares about the guy controlling the town. Volchek is not Profitt.

There are a couple of redeeming factors. This show has been very open about using people from a broad spectrum of society. Uncle Mike, who lost both of his legs in real life, is shown making love with a woman. When was the last time on TV you saw a handicapped adult engaging in a real life positive event such as sex? Also, the woman he is with exposes her left breast at the 31 minute mark. Shortly after the phone rings, she is seen getting out of bed, putting on her robe and her left breast is clearly exposed for a few seconds. Good thing it was 1989/1990 instead of today. The FCC would have fined this show millions!! 10 more episodes and HDNet will start the series again from season one. can't wait!!!
