Justified paranoia
30 May 2009 | by (Mexico City) – See all my reviews

In the previous episode Beadie Russell understood that to tap certain phones having a possible case of people selling women is simply not possible, or you have case of people selling drugs or better stop asking for a wiretap. The detail will bring Rhonda Pearlman back and now is time for going with a judge, clean some windows (loved that stuff!) and get the approval for the wiretap.

I want to mention some of the reasons why I'm sure you will smile, laugh with this episode, there you have Bunk saying the difference between McNulty with a case and McNulty without a case, Ziggy bringing his attorney (a duck he bought!) to drink with the stevedores, Frank saying to the police that he is not quite sure that his people don't steal dippers at the docks or McNulty's attempt to turn a corner without crashing, in this episode we see many characters smiling, is an episode in which things go fine for Daniels and company, and hell even for Jimmy McNulty (the previous episode almost was the very first episode of the Series without McNulty, but he has some minutes near the very last moment of that episode, not a good time for him and in this hour Bunk simply sees his pal at the bottom, the worst time for McNulty, he wishes a case and he will be rescued from the boat, a good police will be back to a real case but wait, what about Rawls? you may be wondering, well now if Daniels wants to kiss Rawls' tits Rawls will allow Daniels to do that but for the misfortune of Rawls Daniels don't want to kiss anything, he just want McNulty in the detail he commands). Daniels and company will smile since this time they aren't working on Westside criminals that do expect they are hearing their phone conversations and since they will know the phone number of the boss, the stevedores will have a fun time with Ziggy trying to beat Maui and with Ziggy's duck, but anyway my title refers to Frank's paranoia, for a couple of details he knows nothing is right, in short he and Nick will meet with the Greek (Nick will know that the old man he usually sees at the café is actually the Greek) which is nothing good for the detail…
