  • Joe's old baseball coach wants him to bring the player who's poised to break Joe's record. While on route, Joe learns that the player among other things will be getting a car and Joe will be the butt of some jokes. When the airport tells Joe that it's not uncertain if conditions are good for him to land but they want him to make that decision and he decides not to making people think he didn't want the player to break his record.

Synopsis

  • Joe`s high school record for most strikeouts is in jeopardy with a new saint pitching wiz kid Ty Warner (Matthew Fox of LOST fame in one of his first TV roles). Events lead to Joe having to fly Ty and his former coach to the final game of the year, but the airport is socked in and the tower gives Joe the option to abort which he does. Helen, who is smitten with Ty, acuses Joe of denying the record, but AeroMass (Roy`s airline) flys Ty in time to not only get the record, but win the game with late inning heroics.
