Trivia

Karen tells Rosario, "Hey, you're on the clock, tamale. Get to work!" After pressure from Latin groups, the word "tamale" was over-dubbed with "honey" when it premiered on 21 September 1999. A subsequent repeat airing on 17 December 1999 restored the scene. NBC Entertainment president Garth Ancier later said, "I think we overreacted the first time." However, on 3 August 2000, "tamale" was again substituted with "honey" (and the camera angle on Karen was changed). The original version appears on the Season 2 DVD. See more »

Quotes

Grace: [On: Will & Jack's friendship] I just don't see how anyone could subject themselves to that kind of abuse on a daily basis.
Karen: [Karen enters] Honey, your new dump smells like cat pee.
Grace: ...Never mind.
