Goofs

King Stefan tells West that "Vrkalak" is a "Magyar-Croatian word". There is no such language or language family as "Magyar-Croatian" as the term implies a connection between two languages of different origins. "Magyar" is the native term for Hungarian; Serbo-Croatian is a Slavic language. Hungarian is a member of a language family, related to Finnish, Estonian, Turkish and others, although these relationships are controversial. The phonetic pattern of "Vrkalak" is Slavic and not likely to be of Hungarian origin. See more »
