Trivia

Robert Conrad is seen here in two separate "bondage" situations. In the first, he's tied, bare-chested, to a post with his hands bound above his head. In the second, he's spreadeagled with his right wrist and ankle roped to a tree and his left wrist and ankle roped to a wagon. See more »

Goofs

This "Night" takes place in Washington or Idaho, near British Columbia. The Indians are referred to as the Iroqouis, who occupied central New York colony prior to and during the colonial period. After the American Revolution, most of the Iroquois were relocated, primarily in Ontario, Wisconsin and the Indian Territory, which, at the time, consisted of land which is now parts of Louisiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas. There were no migrations of Iroquois to the Pacific Northwest. Currently, registered tribes from the Iroquois Nations live in New York, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Ontario and Quebec. See more »

Superior acting talents and charm of Pernell Roberts
11 December 2012 | by (working in Movieland) – See all my reviews

*Spoiler/plot- TNOT Firebrand, 1967, West and Gordon are on government assignment to prevent an explosive revolution across the U.S. border with Canada organized by Sean O'Reilley.

*Special Stars- Robert Conrad, Ross Martin, Lana Wood, Pernell Roberts

*Theme- The Secret Service is America's best law enforcement arm.

*Trivia/location/goofs- Original air date: 9-15-67. Iroquios Indian nation did not exist anywhere near British Columbia, mostly upstate New york relocated to Wisconsin. Since Robert Conrad is of short stature(under 5'7") all of the leading 'love interest' ladies for James West and show stunt men were of his same short height to prevent production problems. His cowboy boots show 'lifts' in his heels and soles.

*Emotion- Essentially a chase episode but made more interesting by the superior acting talents and charm of Pernell Roberts. The beauty and looks of Lana Wood as an Irish love-interest makes this plot easy to enjoy. Mr. Martin French accent revolutionary and his mountain man in the bar scene is entertaining and worth a fun look also.
