Mary Shelley's Story Gets Wild West West Spin
22 April 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is a version of Frankenstein hidden with in Wild Wild West plot. Only Dr. Frankenstein is a woman, and she is creating monsters with bombs planted in them and aiming them at President Grant and other important people. First Dr. Faustina capture West & makes a clone of him which just misses killing President Grant when West explodes more than his usual active self.

It is set in New Orlens and there are plenty of fireworks. Dr Faustina captures Artemis and creates a double of him with a planted bomb. Then she sends him out to kill Grant and his cabinet in a meeting on Canal street. In all a pretty decent idea for an episode.

The lab sequences are pretty much done the same as Frankenstein and the assistant is pretty much an Igor clone.
