Clifton Davis is evil on two feet and Gunn is great as a man with his back to the wall. Scary real life drama with all kinds of implications for those who get in bad with a hood. Moral of the story never borrow from a lone shark. One asks all the way through "What would I do?" A good question to ask. Not exactly light fare but the heavy stuff with a point or ten about good and evil. Excellent cast and good direction aid a well thought out script with some surprisingly (For 73) provocative thoughts on on sex, hate, love, family, fear, courage, cowardice, rage, honor and a simple, touching - and for the time risqué - scene of lovemaking as way of embracing life in a deadly scenario. Well worth a look.
