Factual errors 

When replying to Taylor Reid, C.J. says that the "initiative will save $3.4 billion per year, that's $16 billion over 5 years". Actually, 3.4 x 5 = 17, not 16.

In the opening scene, Toby tells C.J. that the Chinese currency is the Yuan, not the Yen (Japan's currency). However, while Yuan is the name of a denomination, Chinese money is called RMB, an abbreviation for "Renminbi" or "The People's Money." Both currencies are represented by the same symbol: ¥.

Miscellaneous 

The base closing commission cites Fort Drum as the US Army's deep snow combat center and that it should be closed because it is not a training priority. In reality, any cold weather training is done in Alaska.
