But Corky doesn't believe she has any talent. Plenty of Al's other friends are eager to compete, though. The Hooded Avenger makes a tiny ice sculpture of his own. Madame Judy does impressions of Rosanne Barr, Barbra Streisand and Elvis Presley. The guy Al boarded up in the wall does a stand-up act. Bobby the Inquisitive Boy becomes Bobby the Dancing Boy. Al's mom plays the banjo while balancing plates on her head. Then the teenage R&B group Immature shows up. Meanwhile, Al gives an inept performance on the pilot episode of "The Flintstones."
What's on Al TV? A game show contestant is forced to spin the wheel over and over. "Celebrity Close-up" gets too close to Clint Eastwood. An anchorman promises to show the five shiny objects in his coat pocket. A weather girl gets carried away with her pointer.
Danielle Weeks as Cousin Corky gets the spotlight in this episode, and she does such a good job that we wish she had a bigger role in the series as a whole. Al's mom is played by his real-life mom, Mary Yankovic, and she gives the kind of performance you'd expect from someone's mom.
