Trivia

In its second season, this series underwent a dramatic format change. The show title was changed to "War of the Worlds: The Second Invasion." The present-day setting of the first season was changed to a post-apocalyptic future where the US is undergoing a second Great Depression, several main characters were killed during the pilot of the second season and the alien fighting team were cut off from government support. The aliens could now produce clones of humans which they could control and the plot point that required aliens to "change bodies" every 24 hours was removed. This last change allowed actors playing alien characters to become regular and recurring cast members. See more »

Classic old B rated movies should be Cherish not withheld because they didn't sell enough. The younger generation needs the computer generation not their imagination it seems like now-days. I have been trying to buy their second season as well as second seasons of Sea Quest DSV and Baa Baa Black Sheep Squadren but they have not put them out after their first season DVD's came out. I know that I don't count for much but I enjoy watching them while I sit in Iraq. I am not that old and Not a couch potato but I do enjoy watching TV with my little girls. But hey maybe someday I will be able to purchase all the old movies that I seen in my Youth.
